MiloMint Privacy Policy

MiloMint is a parent-managed chore, homework, routine, allowance, and reward app for families. Parents create and control child profiles.

Data We Collect

We collect parent account data, child profile details, task and routine activity, reward requests, wallet ledger entries, and device data required for app operation such as push notification tokens.

How We Use Data

We use data to show each family its children, routines, chores, rewards, allowance rules, approvals, reminders, account emails, and security notices.

Data Stored Only on Your Device

Optional Face ID / Touch ID unlock for parent controls is handled entirely on your device by iOS — MiloMint never receives or stores biometric data. Reminders you enable are scheduled locally on your device, and your appearance choice (Light, Dark, or System) is saved on the device, not on our servers.

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

MiloMint is designed to be set up and managed by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly let children create their own accounts. When a parent creates a family and adds a child profile, the parent provides and controls that child's information and, in doing so, gives verifiable parental consent to MiloMint collecting and using it for the purposes described here.

Information tied to a child is limited to what the app needs to function: a first name or nickname, avatar/color, grade, the chores, homework, routines, calendar events, reward requests, screen-time settings, and wallet-ledger entries a parent sets up. Children sign in with a parent-issued Kid Code and PIN — no email or password. Children do not create public profiles or social feeds, MiloMint shows no behavioral advertising to anyone, and we never use children's data to build advertising profiles or sell it.

A parent can review, edit, and delete their child's information at any time from Parent Settings, and can withdraw consent by deleting the child profile or the family account (see Retention & Deletion). For any children's-data request, contact privacy@milomint.app.

Retention & Deletion

Parents can export their family's data and request account deletion from within the app. Deletion is confirmed by an email verification code to the account owner and can be cancelled during a waiting period; after that the family's data is permanently removed. We retain data only as long as the family account is active or as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations.

Sharing

MiloMint does not sell family or child data and does not share it for advertising. Data is processed only by infrastructure providers (such as AWS and Apple) needed to operate the app, under their data-protection terms.

Analytics & Tracking

In the app: MiloMint uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and shows no ads. We keep a first-party, parent-only usage log to understand which features are used; it never includes a child's personal information.

On this marketing website (milomint.app): we use Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel to measure traffic and how our ads perform. These set cookies and share website-visit information with those providers. They load only with your consent: visitors in the EU/EEA and UK are asked to opt in first — nothing non-essential runs until you accept — and anyone can change or withdraw their choice at any time via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. We never place these trackers on children, and we do not sell family or child data. Our product video uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, which contacts YouTube only if you choose to play it.
