About
Why we built MiloMint
MiloMint started in a real home that ran on sticky notes and the same conversation every day: did you do your chores, did you finish your homework, how much screen time have you had? The chore apps we tried were either too cute to give parents real control, or so spreadsheet-like that the kids ignored them.
So we built the middle ground — a calm, parent-controlled app where kids open one simple view of exactly what to do today, completed work waits for a quick parent approval, allowance stays clear, and screen time is something kids earn by finishing their tasks rather than something parents police.
Who makes it
MiloMint is built and maintained by Riadh Amari, a parent and software engineer. It is an independent product, not backed by advertising — there are no ads in the app and we do not sell family or child data.
What we believe
Parents stay in control. Children's profiles are created and managed by a parent, kids sign in with a private code and PIN, and there are no public profiles or social feeds. The wallet is a family ledger for teaching saving and responsibility — MiloMint never holds, moves, or transfers real money, and is not a bank, broker, or investing product.
