Smarter Snap & a fridge-friendly QR code

Snap got smarter — photos of screens now work, re-scans spot events already in your calendar, and a failed scan never counts against your free previews.
The QR code on printed calendars is now big enough to scan from across the kitchen.
See exactly how many scans you have left each month.
Brand-new welcome for new families — add your first kid in seconds, with more avatars to choose from.
Points go on hold while a reward awaits approval, so nothing gets double-spent by accident.
Reminders now arrive at the right local time, once per device.

Savings goals that stick: set a goal amount when you create a child, and see it everywhere.
A real streak: it now counts the days in a row your kid finishes their tasks — not just a running total.
Faster task assigning: with one child, they're selected automatically, so you can assign in a tap.
Tap-through stat cards: jump straight to kids, rewards, or wallets from the dashboard.
Clearer task types — recurring tasks are handled by the Repeat setting and the Routines tab.
Co-parent controls: add or remove a co-parent and get an email when it happens; only the owner can delete the family account.
Simpler passwords, your app version on the sign-in screen, and a batch of fixes from real family feedback.
