The question every parent asks first: my kid spent 30 points on a movie night — where did the 30 go? Here is the whole MiloMint economy in one picture and five short rules.

Do a task → points go up.

💰 Payday → weekly pocket money, automatic.

Money mode? Same thing, in dollars. The app never moves real money.

Frequently asked questions

Where do points go when my kid spends them on a reward?

Nowhere — they vanish. 100 points minus a 30-point movie night leaves 70, and you hand over the movie night. Points are a scoreboard, not a currency.

What is payday in MiloMint?

Weekly pocket money, added automatically on the day you pick. Skipped tasks can shrink it if you set a deduction.

Does MiloMint move real money?

Never. The app keeps score; your actual wallet does the paying. No bank account, no kid card.

What's the difference between points mode and money mode?

Same scoreboard, different label. Points are playful; money mode counts real dollars you settle in person. Switch anytime in Settings.
